I want to prepare for summer, you know hot summers can be so just would like to check with fellow growers here what is your grow room's air conditioner? Your tried and tested temp, if you can share that too, that will be great! Thanks!

Getting your grow room ready for summer heat? Keep temps at 70–78°F while plants are growing, then a little cooler when they flower. Small tents work great with portable A/Cs. But a mini-split system is better if you have more space because they have better control and are more efficient.

What size is your grow room, and how well is it insulated? That info can help you wisely pick the right A/C unit. Can your setup handle humidity? You might need a separate dehumidifier or an A/C that handles humidity well. What does your current setup look like?

For my grow room, I've had good success with a portable 12,000 BTU air conditioner.
It's not a fancy split unit, but it gets the job done for my roughly 10x12 ft space, vented out a window.
I aim to keep my grow room pretty consistently in the 68-72F range.
When it starts creeping above 75F, I definitely notice issues with damping off and leggy growth.
Below 65F, germination can be slower.
Beyond using an air conditioner, I make sure there's still goo air circulation by using oscillating fans to keep the air moving and reduce fungal risk.
I also monitor humidity with a hygrometer.

That's super helpful! thanks for sharing all that. For the fans, do you run them 24/7 or only when lights are on?

pfff...can not do that in my country. The electric bill would be crazy....
