Mysterious Purple Leafed Radish in my China Rose Tray

My family and I eat radish a lot, so I'm growing a bunch of China Rose radishes. I've been doing this for quite a while, but something odd happened on this batch.
I'm on my third batch, and on two different trays, I've got a single radish that has these awesome purple leaves! The rest are the usual green.

Has anyone ever had this happen? Is it a random seed that got mixed in, or is it a genetic variation of the China Rose? Is this a normal thing to see, or am I just getting lucky with a cool little mutation?

Honestly, I like this color. It looks amazing. How to get it all purple?

I doubt it could be a different see mixing in, although I wouldn't cross it off the list. I'm thinking a mutation probably and yes you can get more of these by getting the seeds. Let the radish flower and collect the seeds and plant them. From that batch you should see more purple radishes which you'll let flower and grab the seeds and prepare for the next batch. After a few batches you should have all purple radishes.

Some crops show purple red Nitrit on places when there is a deficiency of Phosphorus available for the plant.
A deficiency of P can happen when the soil is depleted, the pH in the soil is above 6.5 and cold...
Maybe that is he case?

Still learning on this but I think it might take a few generations to stabilize this sorta thing

It might be a rare variation. If you like the color, keep growing from that plant’s seeds — maybe you’ll get more purple ones!
