So, I'm a full-time graphic designer, and I've been itching to dive into a side project, thinking about starting my own microgreens as a business at home. I came across these videos claiming you can make anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000 a month with just one growing shelf, but honestly, that sounds a bit too good to be true, right?

For those of you who've tried your hand at this, is that kind of income actually realistic for beginners? I'm also curious, what microgreens are the best sellers for newbies? And apart from hitting up farmers markets, where have you found good customers?

How long did it take you to start seeing some profit? And do you think the microgreens scene is still on the rise, or is it becoming a bit crowded?

Yeah it's possible to make cash, but 2k a month requires consistency and access to a market that actually buys. Start small, focus on fast growers like radish and sunflower. Then try vend it along your neighborhood or posting in group chats local to you.
