Getting rid of fungus gnats in microgreens

What can I do to get rid of fungus gnats or their larvae, the small white worms in soil that sometimes show up in microgreens? I'm looking for safe, effective methods to protect my crops

Bottom watering is the best approach because you keep the top dry, something that fungus gnats don't like too much and cant survive. YOu can also try that yellow stiky tape which might work, but I'd still combine it with a change in watering techniques.

yep, agree! keeping that top layer dry is absolutely key, fungus gnats are masters of finding moisture.
Have you ever tried combining that with beneficial nematodes or a product containing BTI (Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis)? They're fantastic for breaking the lifecycle in the soil/media itself

Buddy, if you're seeing larvae in your microgreens trays, you're already late to the fight. Overwatering and poor airflow invite fungus gnats, so fix those first....otherwise, you're just treating symptoms, not the cause, and it'll keep coming back
