Chia micros sprout fast, usually in about 8 to 12 days and get to around 2 to 3 inches tall. In addition to the post above, just keep the soil damp, make sure there's good airflow, and when you're ready to harvest, just snip them off above the soil. You can keep them in a container in the fridge for up to a week. How's your setup coming along?
got a couple of tips that I think are important for beginners. first, no pre soaking! Unlike many other microgreens, chia seeds don't need or like to be pre soaked because of that mucilage.
